Fire Dampers

Fire dampers are covered under Australian Standards and are generally installed in the fire rated construction they are designed to protect. Fire dampers should be tested to the relevant Australian Standard. Fire dampers may be installed in walls or ceilings and the fire damper should have a rating at least equivalent to the fire rating of the structure it is penetrating.
